Evergreens and Wildfowl April 9, 1998
She sings like visions dancing through the clouds
Watched across the bay in a quiet escape,
Surrounded by evergreens and wildfowl.
So excellent is her noise.
I dream about her all day and night,
I think about her even while I work
(struggling to fix the problem with this or that),
such is the nature of my welcome affliction.
So I love her, who will deny it?
Who will look at my smile and
Attempt to deny she's to blame?
I will crush them, I will.
Who will dare to come between
What will soon become our dreams,
What will soon become our plans,
For all that will be our future?
We will leap right through them,
Burning a hole with our power.
I do… I do. Our solemn promise.
Filling our day with happiness,
Enjoying our night with passion,
Sealing our fate together.
