Tapestry August 1990
How does it feel?
You here with me
Like a brilliant tapestry
Of life's many ways
Two souls of a kindred spirit
Passed each other one night.
True love.
This distance between us can never
Compare to the loneliness I felt before you.
My soul feels your touch wherever I am.
What a blessing I have received.
It is all I can do to give in equal worth.
I call out to you one night.
And you heard my cry of desire
For peace and freedom
And your love.
All the colors within my head
Swirl in a magnificant rainbow.
Yet nothing can compare to the one whiteness
Which only together can they acheive.
So they stop their swirling
And begin their joining
And here I am for you to see.
The mystery of my past I share with you
And my future holds mysteries
That we will solve together.
As for now, only a greater power can know.
There is so much to say,
But few words possess enough power.
Be warned that you will be surprised
By what I say and don't say,
By what I do and don't do.
We've time to grow.
Patience is a virtue we can use
For the rest of eternity together.
