The Transparent Eyeball

There sits a man in a cave
afraid to turn his head,
fearing the brilliant
and enlightening fire behind him.

Content with polis' shadows
until transcendental's shadow
Tiresias of now
forms across the wall.

With curiosity of few men,
the sitting man turns.
He looks into the sun,
blinded in one eye he becomes.

Yet the other eye,
it sees all.
And it perceives even more.
Transcendental it really becomes.

For deep within the sole eyeball
burns a sphere,
the mirror of that which blinded its brother.
